How to Set the Location Flag on Your Garry's Mod Server
Setting your region flag is important for the Garry's Mod server list, and it's very easy to do!
Step 1: Locate Your server.cfg File
You can find this file at the following location:
/garrysmod/cfg/server.cfg
Step 2: Find or Add the sv_location Option
This option should be in your server.cfg file. If for some reason it's not there, you can add it yourself!
Add or modify the line with the proper ISO code for the country flag you want on your server:
sv_location us
Replace us with your desired country code.
Step 3: Save and Restart
Save the server.cfg file and restart your server. Your location flag will now appear in the server browser!

Finding More Country Codes
You can find the complete list of ISO country codes at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-2
Simply use the two-letter code corresponding to your desired country.
Troubleshooting
If your flag doesn't appear after restarting:
- Verify that you used the correct two-letter ISO country code
- Make sure there are no typos in the command
- Ensure the server.cfg file was saved properly
- Check that the server has been fully restarted
